A waterfront bistro with a full dining room on weekends and a dead one on Tuesdays. We rebuilt the site, rerouted their local search, and turned the slow nights into the busy ones.
Harbor & Vine came to us with a beautiful room and a dead channel. The old site took nine seconds to load, the menu was a PDF, and searching “waterfront dinner” in their own city put them on page three, behind two places that had closed.
The open circuit
Restaurants live and die by two moments: the search at 5pm and the decision at 5:02. Harbor & Vine was losing both. Their traffic report told the story: 70 percent of visitors left before the page finished loading, and the booking link was three taps deep.
The reroute
We rebuilt the site on a static stack that loads in under a second on a phone in a parking lot. The menu became real, crawlable text with structured data, so search engines and AI assistants could quote it. Local SEO got the patient treatment: citations cleaned, Google Business rebuilt around dishes people actually search for, review responses handled weekly.
Then we put the reservation button where a hungry person’s thumb already is.
Power on
Five months after power-on, reservations attributed to organic search were up 184 percent. Tuesday covers doubled. The owner’s words: “We used to be noise people stumbled into. Now we are the signal they were searching for.”
