APSIS is a private orbital flight company. We fly people and science to low Earth orbit, and we bring them back changed. Everything below is how that became a company instead of a wish.

Why we exist
Three flight directors who refused to wait their turn.
APSIS started with three people who had spent their careers in government mission control, flying other people's spacecraft. They had cleared crews, called holds, and watched hundreds of launches from the back room. Between them they had never once been to orbit.
The view, they kept being told by everyone who came back, was the thing that changed you. And the view was locked behind a waiting list sixty years long, available only to the few hundred people a government chose to send. That math stopped making sense to them in 2021.
So they left, and they built a company on a single conviction: that access to orbit should not end with governments, and that flying civilians safely is an engineering problem, not a privilege. Five years later the manifest is full and the safety record is intact.

What we believe
Four rules we will not fly without.
Boring is a safety feature
A flight where nothing unexpected happens is the only kind we want to fly. Two independent life-support loops, an always-armed abort, a heat shield retired early. We engineer the drama out so the only surprise left is the view.
Everyone qualifies until proven otherwise
We start from yes. The flight physical is rigorous, but it exists to find the rare disqualifier, not to filter for elite athletes. We have flown people in their seventies and people who had never left their country.
The view is the product
We do not sell adrenaline or a logo on a patch. We sell nine minutes of weightlessness and one uninterrupted look at the planet with no border on it. Everything else on the vehicle is there to deliver that one thing safely.
The people who fly it
Crew you would trust with the descent.
Six people stand between a launch hold and a safe splashdown. Between them they have flown more than forty orbital missions and lost no one. They train every passenger who flies APSIS.

Who funds the program
Patient money, with a flight surgeon's veto.
We took capital from people who understand that a launch schedule is not a software roadmap. No backer can move a flight date, override a hold, or put a passenger on the manifest. Safety answers to the flight surgeon, never to the cap table.
