PROCESS / METHODOLOGY
Four phases, built from eighteen years of experience leading people into places they have never been — and back again.
Every expedition begins with a conversation. We map your experience level, your physical condition, your aspirations, and your timeline. Then we match you to the journey — not the other way around.
Twelve weeks before departure, you receive a detailed preparation protocol: training schedule, gear list with our specific recommendations, visa logistics, vaccination requirements, and a pre-expedition call with your guide.
In the field, our guides lead small groups — eight maximum. Every decision is made with weather, terrain, and group wellbeing as the only variables. We carry emergency equipment and maintain satellite communication throughout.
The expedition does not end at the trailhead. We debrief with every group, share the photography, and maintain the connections formed in the field. Many of our clients have returned for a second, third, or fifth journey.
FEATURED JOURNEYS / EXPEDITIONS

Sixteen days from Nairobi to Zanzibar — crossing the Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and coastal forest.

Twenty-one days in the Khumbu — Everest Base Camp, Gokyo Lakes, Cho La Pass, and the rooftop world above 5,300m.

Twelve days crossing Iceland's volcanic interior — Laugavegur, Landmannalaugar, and the Westfjords coastline.
FIELD REPORTS / CLIENT VOICES
I have traveled to forty-three countries. Nothing compares to the Patagonia Circuit with OVERLAND. Elena made a wild, demanding place feel like it was built for exactly the kind of person I want to be.
The Himalaya expedition exceeded everything I imagined. Rajan reads that landscape like text — he noticed things that would have taken me years of experience to see.
I came back from East Africa a different person. I don't say that lightly. The silence of Ngorongoro at dawn — the rhino thirty meters away — nothing in my previous life prepared me for that.
OVERLAND does not run tours. They run expeditions. The difference is everything. I felt challenged, supported, and consistently moved by what we encountered.
Ingrid's knowledge of the Icelandic highlands is extraordinary. She anticipated every weather change, every route decision. I trusted her completely from day one.
