The studio
The long, quiet life of a thing.
Mercer began at a single potter's wheel and a stubborn belief: the everyday objects deserve as much care as the special ones.

Every object you keep is a small vote for how the world should be made.
We are a small studio of makers and the people who find them. We carry less, we carry it longer, and we stand behind every piece on the shelf.
Nothing here is designed to be replaced. It is designed to be lived with, refilled, repaired, and handed on.

How it's made

We find the maker first
Before a single product, we find a person — a potter, a weaver, a small family mill. We visit, we learn the craft, and we only carry what they would put their own name on.

We choose the slow material
Olive wood from old, slow-grown trees. European flax. Unrefined shea. Materials that patina and improve rather than wear out, and that the earth can take back when their long life is finally over.

We ship it to be kept
Plastic-free, recyclable packaging and carbon-measured delivery. Refills and repairs whenever we can offer them. We would rather be a day slower than be wasteful.
What we hold to
Three things, non-negotiable.
Made by hand
Small batches from makers we know by name. The faint thumbprint is the proof of a person, not a machine. Each piece carries the quiet pride of someone who made it start to finish.
Built to last
No disposable filler. Pieces we will refill or repair, and that look better the longer you keep them. If it wears out in a year, it was never worth carrying.
Shipped kindly
Plastic-free packaging, measured carbon, and the patience to do delivery the considerate way. Every box that leaves the shelf is one we would be proud to receive.
