The Anatomy of a Kinetic Logo
Why static logos are a relic of print thinking — and how motion unlocks the true personality of a mark.
A logo that moves tells you something a logo that sits cannot.
When we design marks at PRISM, we don’t ask “how does this look?” first. We ask “how does this arrive?” The entrance — the transition from nothing to something — is where personality lives.
Consider the difference between a mark that drops into frame and one that assembles from its components. Both deliver the same static image. The experience of arriving at that image is entirely different.
This is not about animation for animation’s sake. This is about using time as a design material.
