TORQUE was founded in 2007 by Marcus Renault, a former Formula 3 mechanic who returned to Chicago after seven years working race paddocks across Europe. He'd seen what genuine precision looked like — and knew it was largely absent from the independent shop market.

Eighteen years later, TORQUE employs fifteen full-time specialists across detailing, performance tuning, and mechanical services. Every technician is hired for domain expertise, not general competency. The result is a workshop where your Ferrari is treated like a race car and your daily driver receives the same methodical care.
