Product Engineer

What You’ll Work On

KAIRO’s power users are technical — but they need interfaces that make complex agent configurations comprehensible and auditable. You’ll build:

• Workflow Builder — a visual canvas for creating multi-step AI automations. Currently built in React with custom drag-and-drop. We’re planning a significant rewrite.
• Observability UI — dashboards that show agents running in real time, reasoning traces, cost attribution, and quality scores
• Configuration surfaces — the settings, permissions, and integration management interfaces that enterprise admins spend their time in

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• 3+ years of product engineering experience (full-stack, frontend-heavy)
• Strong React and TypeScript skills
• Experience building complex data-heavy interfaces (dashboards, tables, forms at scale)
• Product sense — you can take a vague requirement and ship something users love

Nice to have:

• Experience with canvas-based UIs (Excalidraw, React Flow, or similar)
• Background in developer tooling or developer-facing products
• Data visualization (D3, Recharts, Observable)

What Makes This Role Interesting

You’ll work directly with customers. We do weekly user research sessions and engineers attend them. The feedback loop is short. If you shipped something that confused users last week, you know it this week.

We’re small enough that a single engineer can own a major surface area end-to-end.
