Architectural cinematic for an Oslo studio’s submission to the Nordic Design Biennale. Long exposures, 10-second cuts, no music — only structure.
Forma asked us to make a building feel like a living thing. The brief was three words: structure breathes slowly. We interpreted that literally — every shot holds for ten seconds minimum, letting the viewer’s eye move through the space at the pace of walking, not cutting.
The sound design uses only ambient audio captured on location: wind through corridors, water on concrete, the subtle expansion of steel in afternoon heat. No score, no narration. The building speaks for itself.
