From Farm to Formula
Last autumn, we traveled to the lavender fields of Provence to visit the regenerative farms where our key ingredients are grown. What we found there changed how we think about sourcing — and about beauty itself.
Regenerative farming is not just sustainable. It is restorative. These farms actively rebuild soil health, increase biodiversity, and sequester carbon. The plants that grow in this soil are measurably more potent than conventionally farmed alternatives.
Our rosehip comes from a family farm in the Drôme Valley that has been cultivating wild roses for three generations. The sea buckthorn is harvested by hand from coastal plantations in Brittany. Every ingredient has a story, a place, a person behind it.
This is what we mean by intentional beauty. It is not enough for a product to work. It must also honor the systems that created it.
